18 feet and rising

Sam Hibbard has directed a hilarious new series of commercials for Nando’s, primarily for online and cinema. The films centre around three restaurant goers and the internal dialogue that they are having with their own forefingers. Each one is determined not to eat a hot wing in Nando’s new Wing Roulette meal.

nineteentwenty were brought in to tidy up the forefingers that were painstakingly made up to look like their owners. In ‘Tapping’ we had to tidy around the glasses and add in a reflection, in ‘Arrgghh’ we had to alter the position of the eyebrows and thin out the moustache to match closer with it’s owners, whereas in ‘Shirt’ we had to tweak the grade of the hair and clean up some areas of rogue glue.

As the turn around was so tight on this project we conformed straight from the Red R3D in Hiero, transcoding them to DPX file within. The grade was done on final master DPX seq’s by Paul Harrison at finish.
